1. Who we are
Booz is a football scores app that shows live scores, fixtures, standings, news, and team information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
2. What we collect
We aim to collect as little data as possible. Booz does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, phone number, address, location, contacts, photos, microphone, or any biometric data.
What we do collect:
- Push notification token — a device-specific identifier provided by Apple / Google / OneSignal so we can deliver match alerts you opt into.
- Notification preferences (tags) — the teams and leagues you choose to follow, so we only notify you about matches relevant to you. Stored against the anonymous device token, not against you personally.
- Basic device information — operating system version, app version, language, and time zone. Used for crash diagnostics and to format match times correctly.
3. What stays on your device
The following data never leaves your phone and is stored locally only:
- Your favorite teams and leagues
- App settings (theme, language, RTL preference)
- Cached match and standings data
4. How we use the data
- To deliver match alerts you have opted in to receive.
- To show fixtures, scores, standings, players, and news.
- To investigate crashes or bugs and improve the app.
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Your choices
- You can disable notifications anytime from your device settings (Settings → Booz → Notifications).
- You can unfollow teams or leagues inside the app, which clears the related notification tags.
- You can uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data.
6. Data retention
Notification tokens and tags are retained only while you have the app installed and notifications enabled. When you uninstall the app or revoke notification permission, the token becomes inactive and is removed during routine cleanup.
7. Children
Booz is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
